| About the Trainer/History: |
Jeff Bergin has worked in the fitness industry for 20 years. With a bachelor's in education with a specialization in physical education, Jeff worked as a junior high school teacher for 9 years. He spent several years as a hockey school instructor working with young adults, with a particular focus on goalie specialization.
Throughout, he has been a personal trainer and worked with hundreds of clients. He was a co-owner of Astral Fitness in Stittsville before going on to establish Westgate Health and Fitness. In his new role as owner he's been able to help mentor dozens of trainers and managers in the business. But his love of teaching has found a new outlet with Sport Performance Institute.
Now, as director of education for SPI, he has a new opportunity to bring all of the years of teaching, experience and mentorship together in a new facility which will help foster others in the field. |
